These terms and conditions apply to purchase of goods on for delivery in Denmark and worldwide.

Ordering and payment is open 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. It may happen that we close the shop for maintenance. You can only make purchases when the store is open and available.

To shop at you must be 18 years old and possess a valid credit card, which we accept. If you are not yet 18 years old, you may still purchase items if you have obtained your guardian's consent or otherwise have a legal right to enter into the purchase.

All our prices are quoted in EUR and include 20% VAT.

NB: For customers outside Europe (including Norway and Switzerland), the 20% VAT will automatically be deducted at the checkout. 

How to complete a purchase at

You choose the item(s) you want to purchase and add them into the "shopping cart". You can edit the contents of the shopping cart at any time and continuously check the content and price of the good(s).

1. When you are ready to place your order, click the shopping cart icon and click "Check out."
2. Then enter your information and click "Continue to Shipping Methods"
3. Then select the shipping method you want and press "Continue to payment method"
4. Then you will be directed to a secure payment page where you will enter your credit card information. You can cancel your order at any time until you confirm your payment information by clicking the "Finish payment" button.

The amount will first be deducted from your account once the item(s) leaves our warehouse.

We pay the creditcard fee on all online orders.

We also accept PayPal.

Acknowledgement of receipt of order and order confirmation

When you order an item from us, you will receive an acknowledgment (order confirmation) of our receipt of your order. However, there is first entered into a binding purchase agreement, when you have received an order confirmation from us.

Shipping terms

We ship all international parcels with either DHL, FedEx or TNT. We use insured parcel service and you receive a track & trace no. when we ship the order.

Delivery time is typically 2-5 business days and costs 5 EUR. regardless of order amount.

Outside Europe (rest of the world):
Delivery time is typically 3-6 business days and costs 10 EUR. regardless of order amount.

NOTE: We reserve the right to cancel an order if freight costs to remote areas exceed a certain size.

Non EU customers. Please note that local charges (custom duty, sale tax) may be added to your order, depending on region and local custom duties. These charges are at the customer own expense.

30 days return policy

When you shop online at you have 30 days to regret your purchase. You have to inform us that you regret your purchase and then return the item(s) to us.

Some items are not covered by this right, and it will appear in the ordering process. Right runs from the day you received the goods. If the period expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve deadline is extended to the following Monday. In the case of multiple goods ordered in one order but are delivered separately, or a product that comes in several batches, the period from the receipt of the last item.

Do after receiving only handle the goods in a way so that you can establish the nature, characteristics and the way they operate.
To exercise the return right, you should make an unequivocal statement by email within 30 days of receipt of goods. 


When returning the goods, we do a full refund of the shoe costs + original shipping costs. If you wish to have another pair instead (exchange), you can make a new order through our webshop.

If your first order had any discounts, we will make sure that you also get it when purchasing your “correct” pair - all you need to do is to contact us regarding this and we will find a convenient solution.

When returning the shoes, please make sure to pack them in their original box, as we need the box for reselling the shoes. The box needs to be in an undamaged condition, so please be careful if you plan to use tape or anything like it to wrap the box in.

In return you should make sure that the goods are securely wrapped. You have the responsibility of the package / goods until we receive it. So keep postal receipt and tracking number. You must pay the costs of returning the goods when you regret.

Please write with big letters "RETURN PARCEL" outside of the box/ parcel.

We expect you to dispatch as soon as possible after you have given notice of withdrawal, and you must return them within 30 days.

We do not accept packages sent COD (cash on delivery)

Documentation of your purchase and return form
You must attach a copy of the order confirmation or other evidence of your purchase. Additionally, it will facilitate the processing, if you attach a completed return form.


When we receive the goods, we check it and you get paid back the amount you have paid to us upon purchase (including freight cost). The amount is always transferred to the same payment as you paid the purchase. Have you, for example, paid by card, reversed the purchase amount to the payment card you used for the purchase.

NOTE: It can take up to 14 business days for our warehouse to process the return, we therefore ask for your patience. Please contact us at, if the refund takes more than the expected time frame. 

NOTE: You may lose your purchase amount, in whole or in part. This happens if the product is impaired because:

- You have actually taken the goods in use
- It has been damaged while you were responsible for it
- You have handled goods otherwise than was necessary in order for you to determine the nature, characteristics and the way they operate
- You have not followed the restrictions on the right of withdrawal resulting from sealing, product type etc.

Return right on used items

There is a 14 days return policy on items that you have used. If the item has been used it can still be returned. As a consumer you have the right to take the goods into ”eyesight”, which is the same right that applies to a purchase realized in a physical store. You may after receipt only use the goods in a way so that you can maintain the shape, characteristics and the way they function. If the product is used, you can get back the price paid only partly or not at all. It is the consumer who has to pay for a potential depreciation of the item. We preserve the right to value the item according to what we can get for it in a resale.

Complaints - If there is something wrong with the product 

Your purchase of covered by the Sale of Goods Act, including lack rules. This means, that the consumer has 24 months warranty, that you can either have a faulty product repaired or replaced, refund or reduction in price, depending on the specific situation. Of course it is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not caused by an incorrect use of the product or other injurious behavior.

In January 2016 there were adopted a new legislation in relation to the Consumer Complaints Act. We will allways suggest to contact us and solve any complaints but in case there is an dispute we cant solve. We refer to the EU commission's home page - Online Dispute Resolution

You must contact us within "reasonable time"
You must complain within "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect. We recommend that you advertise as soon as possible, and within 2 months after the defect was discovered. You can complaint by contacting us via email: Depending on the specific situation, you will receive further instructions.

When you return the item, please simultaneously as detailed as possible indicate what the problem is. Please use our complaint/return form. It is not a requirement, but it eases our casework, and minimizes processing time for complaint.

By justified complaint we will refund reasonable freight costs

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your reasonable shipping costs to send the product back to us. Otherwise, you must bear all costs of transport, including our freight costs for returning the item after the investigation. Remember that the product must always be in good packaging and get a receipt for shipment. You have the responsibility of the package / goods up to our reception. So keep postal receipt and tracking number.

The above data is stored with information about the items you bought, for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the information relates, see. Bookkeeping Act § 10, after which the data are deleted. Did you set up a login to be able to make self-service with us, your personal information and order information not be deleted unless you ask us to do so.

Information will not be disclosed or sold to third parties, except in connection with a restructuring or a full or partial sale of the company. Any disclosure in such a situation would be in accordance with the then-current privacy legislation. As a customer you are entitled to access to our registration data about you and you may object to the registration pursuant to the rules of this Act concerning the processing of personal data and inquiries regarding this should be directed to SHOE THE BEAR via:

Governing Law and Jurisdiction Purchase of goods on is subject to Danish law. Any dispute settled by the Danish courts.


30 Tage Rückgaberecht

Wenn Sie in unserem Onlineshop unter www.shoethebear.cometwas kaufen, haben Sie innerhalb 30 Tagen die Möglichkeit Ihren Einkauf zurückzuschicken. Sie müssen uns lediglich über Ihre Entscheidung informieren und die Ware an uns returnieren.

Ihr Rückgaberecht beginnt ab dem Tag, an dem Sie oder ein von Ihnen benannter Dritter die Ware erhalten hat. Sollte Ihr Rückgaberecht an einem Feiertag, Samstag, Verfassungstag, an Weihnachten oder Silvester enden, so wird der Zeitpunkt der Rückgabe bis zum darauffolgenden Montag verlängert. Werden mehrere Artikel gleichseitig bestellt, die separat geliefert werden, ist der letzte Tag der separaten Anlieferung als Beginn des Rückgabezeitraums zu betrachten.

Die Ware soll in dem gleichen Zustand returniert werden, in dem sie erhalten wurde. Um von Ihrem Rückgaberecht Gebrauch zu machen, müssen Sie uns innerhalb von 30 Tagen eine eindeutige E-Mail bezüglich dieser Entscheidung schicken.


Wenn Sie die Ware zurückschicken, wird Ihnen der volle Kaufpreis inklusive der Versandkosten zurückerstattet. Wünschen Sie den Austausch in eine andere Größe, können Sie über unseren Webshop eine neue Bestellung tätigen.

Haben Sie auf Ihre ursprüngliche Bestellung einen Rabatt erhalten, werden wir dafür sorgen, dass dieser Rabatt auf Ihre neue Bestellung übertragen wird. Sie müssen uns hierzu nur informieren und wir suchen die für Sie passende Lösung.

Wenn sie die Schuhe returnieren, bitten wir Sie diese in der originalen Verpackung zurückzuschicken. Der Schuhkarton muss in einem unbeschädigten Zustand an uns returniert werden, seien Sie daher bitte vorsichtig, wenn Sie diese verpacken.

Schreiben Sie bitte in Großbuchstaben “RETURN PARCEL” an die Außenseite des Pakets. Wir erwarten, dass Sie nach Ihrer Anmeldung der Retoure, die Ware schnellst möglichst an uns zurückschicken und dies längstens innerhalb 30 Tagen.

Wir akzeptieren keine Versandart, in dem das Paket bei der Anlieferung vom Empfänger bezahlt werden soll (COD).

Sie müssen eine Kopie der Bestellung dem Paket beilegen oder den Kauf auf eine andere Weise nachweisen. Zusätzlich, unterstützt es die Retouren Abwicklung, wenn Sie einen Retourenschein ausfüllen.
